High-Care Big Bag filling

The D-TOPLINE version is specially designed for use in hygienic and high-care environments.

That is why there are no hollow parts or plate-on-plate fixings in any parts where the product is processed. Horizontal surfaces have also been reduced to minimize potential product accumulation (build-up). The entire machine design is fully optimized for maximum accessibility and cleanability of components. In addition to all that, the number of bolted joints is minimized and special EHEDG bolts are used, according to the application requirements.

The Dinnissen high-care filling station is designed for the reliable and ergonomic Big Bag filling. For safety's sake, the Big Bag suspension loops are mounted in a stable, open stainless-steel profile frame. The automated Big Bag suspension hooks move towards the operator for improved ergonomics. Connecting the infeed of the Big Bag to the filling tube is facilitated by an inflatable cuff. This filling tube is equipped with an injection and extraction system and its design eliminates the risk of product spillage after the process. A frequency-controlled vibration system can provide additional stability to the Big Bag during filling. The filling station can be equipped with nitrogen gas-flushing and an automatic sealing unit, to extend the shelf life of the product. The filled Big Bag is then conveyed onward fully automatically, and it can be put on a pallet afterwards. Depending on the product and the type of Big Bag and gas-flushing, a fully automated filling station can fill no less than 10 Big Bags/hour. The Big Bag filling station is also available in an ATEX and/or clean-room version.

Big Bag filling

The Dinnissen Big Bag filling station is designed for reliable and ergonomic use. For safety, the Big Bag suspension loops are mounted in a stable frame, whereby the Big Bag suspension hooks can be automated for improved ergonomics. Connecting the infeed of the Big Bag to the filling tube is facilitated by an inflatable cuff, which is equipped with an aeration and venting coupling. During filling, the Big Bag can be additionally stabilized by using vibration. The filled Big Bag on a pallet is then removed manually or automatically. We also offer the option to extend the filling station by adding an automatic pallet infeed. A fully automated filling station can fill up to 10 Big Bags per hour, depending on the product and type of bag. The Big Bag filling station is also available in an ATEX version or as a mobile unit for use under a group of silos.

pre-, post and in-line gas-flushing systems

Dinnissen supplies various systems for gas-flushing a process or a packaged product with nitrogen.

This process is mainly used for extending product shelf life. However, this also applies for other processes such as prevention of a chemical reaction, thermal product treatment and processing explosive materials.

In-line, pre- and post-process gas-flushing are used to extend the shelf life of packaged products. With pre-gas-flushing, the product is gassed with nitrogen before packaging, e.g. in Big Bags. This form of gas-flushing usually yields the lowest residual oxygen value but it requires the most installation height. In post-gas-flushing, the product is introduced into the package under a nitrogen atmosphere. This requires no additional installation height but does require additional floor space. With in-line gas-flushing, the product is gassed during packaging. This form of gas-flushing provides good results in a continuous process but it uses the most nitrogen.

Dinnissen will recommend the correct nitrogen gas-flushing method for you, depending on the desired percentage of residual oxygen, the available space and the available system capacity

Drum/container filling

The Dinnissen filling station more than meets the stringent contemporary dust emission requirements during filling drums and/or containers.

In addition to regular products, this also covers chemical or toxic substances that fall under the guidelines of the European REACH regulation. This is one of the reasons why the filling station is optionally available with the Dinnissen Easy to Clean Feeder Valve, for the highly accurate dosing of products to the filling station or the packaging unit. In addition, the entire setup can be extended with a very accurate weighing system and is available in a version for High-Care zones, e.g.  in the food industry.

To meet requirements for all these specific applications, the basic setup comprises an innovative, easy-to-use filling adapter with an inflatable cuff that seals off the drum or container in a dust-proof way. Optionally, Dinnissen also offers you a space- and cost-saving hybrid version, with which you can fill varying packages very flexibly with a single station. If you want to fill multiple drums with minimal operator handling, we can equip the station with a turntable that has space for a pallet and multiple drums. The unit uses a specially developed suction cup to ensure that the drums are positioned exactly in relation to the filling adapter.

The sturdy 'custom-made' Dinnissen filling station has a modular structure and is resistant to intensive use in harsh conditions.
